The Argentine economy has recovered significantly in the past five years and with it, the demand for travel, which has grown on average 12 percent annually for the past three years. Argentine travelers spend $1,000 on an average ten-day visit to the United States, excluding air-tickets. The approval rate for visas in the U.S. Consulate in Buenos Aires allowing Argentines to travel to the United States is 90 percent, one of the highest in the Western Hemisphere.
